Yeast Infection From Wax Has Anyone Ever Had A Cat Or Dog With A Middle Ear Infection?

Has anyone ever had a cat or dog with a middle ear infection? - yeast infection from wax

My cat has a yeast infection / wax accumulation in the ears after a sinus infection and ear mite problem has been solved. The drugs they gave me for the EFF will certainly help the yeast, because it scratches more, but his head tilts to one side. I read it is a fairly common symtom when the infection reaches the middle ear, but has worsened in the last 2 days. They told me it again in 2 weeks, it will be this Friday, but it's so sad to see them that way. His vision seems okay. Eating habits are normal, and bowel / bladder habits. He shakes his head and loses his balance.
Just wondering if anyone had an animal with a similar problem.

Actually, yes, you may not want to wait until Friday, when she has a problem. Call the vet tomorrow.
