Coraline in Blu-ray (and most popular 3D) is at home, anaglyph, color with medium to separate the two images of each other (you'll need separate images for each eye to create the illusion of a 3D image).

On stage, the polarization is used, which are 2 projectors for each project an image displayed on the screen. Polarized lenses separate images for each eye, which holds the color images.
